Qbittorrent vs utorrent 2.2.19/2/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Partially download the torrent, either by selecting one file out of a multiple-file torrent or just stopping it partway and then unselecting everything.Load up a torrent in uTorrent 2.2.1 with a bunch of seeds.Turning off uTP seems to massively reduce the behavior and will generally clear the peer list of 0.0% showing seeds.Įdit: There are connections over TCP, but they're much, much briefer. (I notice it on fully seeded torrents as well, but it's usually just 1 or 2 clients at a time. (there are 131 seeds and no leechers on that torrent) It seems to be in response to an outgoing uTorrent communication, since if I stop the torrent in uTorrent 2.2.1, close network port and clear the peer list, the connections still immediately start upon restart of the torrent. RTorrent and uTorrent seeds don't do this. On uTorrent 2.2.1, qBittorrent (and Deluge) seeds will continually connect and disconnect, showing up in the Peer list as 0.0% peers when uTorrent is in a finished partial seed state. ![]()
